25 years of gallery work

about the exhibition; read more ...

"On the occasion of this year's anniversary, gallery owner Ulrike Jakob is looking back on a quarter of a century of gallery work and her active involvement in the contemporary art scene.
A selection of the artists that she has presented, supported and accompanied since the gallery was founded will be shown in a two-part exhibition from November to March. This is not intended as a retrospective, as the title "Visions" already implies, but above all as a look into the future - into that of the artists who are presented with current works and into that of the gallery.
In Part I, the sculptor Herbert Golser is therefore presented as a new addition to the gallery portfolio in the form of a focus presentation. Ulrike Jakob's interest in works on paper and sculptures is also evident in the exhibitions, where she has been focusing on works by Austrian and German artists for many years. These include works by Tilmann Zahn, Armin Göhringer, Tone Fink, Jörg Bach, Josef Bücheler, Walter Weer, Willi Siber and the material paintings by Lena Naumanen. Painting has also always been a constant at the gallery, so works by Nadja D. Hlavka, Maria Temnitschka, Ulrich Plieschnig, Jupp Linsen and Larissa Leverenz, who impressed with her new paintings at this year's PARALLEL VIENNA, can also be seen in Part I of the anniversary show."
